Article 30. Spare parts certification under Article 17 paragraph 2 of the Law shall be established by the issuance of a certificate for spare parts (Form No. 14) or display of eligibility for spare parts (Form No. 15 or l5-(2)).

 

(Application for a Repair Station Certificate for components)
Article 30-(2). Any person who applies for the certification under Article 17 paragraph 3 (hereinafter referred to as "repair station certificate for components") shall submit an application for the repair station certificate (Form No.15-(3)) to the Minister of Transport.

 

2. The application under the preceding paragraph shall be accompanied by duplicated copies of the repair station manual and a copy of a document describing the records of repair and modification.

 

3. The repair station manual under the preceding paragraph shall include the following items;
(1)Scope of repair and/or alteration to be certified under the provision of
Article 30-(5).
(2)Outline of methods of repair or alteration.
(3)The matters enough to clearly certify that the station conforms to the standards listed under paragraph 1 to 6 inclusive of the next Article.

 

(Standards for the Repair and Alteration Certificate of Aircraft)
Article 30-(3). The technical standards under the provisions of Article 17 paragraph 3 of the Law shall be as follows:
(1)Following facilities shall be provided:
a)Equipment, among the equipment as listed in the attached Table 1, necessary for work in the repair or alteration of components in reference to the recognition and for the inspection to be performed to secure the safety of the said components,
b)Workshop having appropriate area, equipment for temperature and humidity control, lighting equipment and other equipment necessary for work in the repair or alteration of components in reference to the recognition and for the inspection to be performed to secure the safety of the said components;
c)Adequate facilities to store materials, parts, components, etc. necessary for repair or alteration of components in reference to recognition.
(2)Following personnel shall be available:
(a)Personnel necessary for the planning and work of repair or alteration of components in reference to recognition and for the inspection to be performed to secure the safety of the said components;
(b)Any person having experience of not less than 18 months concerning the work or inspection under (a) and having adequate airman certificate or any person recognised by the Minister of Transport to have an ability not less than the
